The Legal Cup is Growing

With 6 weeks to go until the Legal Cup, there are already more teams confirmed than last year!

The Legal Cup is the first regatta of the UK sailing season. The regatta offers a weekend of fun sailing, teambuilding activities, networking opportunities and a lively gala dinner to professional services firms, legal specialists and suppliers to the legal industry.

This year, the Legal Cup attracted new sponsorship from Tahiti Tourisme, who are keen to showcase the stunning islands of Tahiti as a holiday destination, especially attractive for sailors.

Amongst the teams confirmed are multi-boat entries from regular competitors Linklaters, Herbert Smith Freehills, Sidley Austin and Allen & Overy plus a host of new teams.

Ahead of their first ever entry, Jon Hales, Partner at Bond Dickinson comments "We’ve been aware of the Legal Cup for several years, but building on a successful year for Bond Dickinson we were looking for new and interesting ways to team build and network. The Legal Cup seemed the perfect opportunity. A number of key business partners have already confirmed that they will be joining Bond Dickinson's crew and we are really looking forward to learning to sail together!”
