How to find us
We provide instructions below for your car,
rail or air journey to our offices. You may also find the following information
useful:
Britannia is located in Port Hamble Marina. Please do not confuse this
with the other nearby marina - Hamble Point Marina.
There is parking in Port Hamble Marina and Hamble Village. However, this
is limited and we would recommend car pooling or using public transport,
wherever possible, and especially for large events, such as the Manches
Cup, Cowes Week and Round the Island.

By Car
From the north and west (M3) & (M27);
If approaching from the M3, take the exit for the M27 and follow signs
for the eastbound M27, towards Portsmouth and Fareham. Follow the M27
eastbound until junction 8, which will be signposted for Hamble.
If approaching from the west on the M27, continue on the eastbound M27
and then exit at junction 8.
At the exit roundabout of junction 8, take the right exit, signposted
Southampton and Hamble. At the next roundabout take the exit signposted
for Hamble on the B3397. Then follow the B3397 for several miles, going
straight over three roundabouts and following signs for Hamble. You will
eventually arrive in the village of Hamble and will go past Barclays Bank
on your left, a large church on your right and will then come to a row
of shops and a mini-roundabout.
At the mini-roundabout take the first (left) turn and then follow the
road for approximately 50 metres. Then take the first right turn into
Port Hamble Marina onto Marina Drive and follow this road down into the
Marina. Britannia is on the top floor of the Harbour Master's office building
(the white building opposite the Aladdin's Cave chandlery).
From the north and east (A3) &
(M27); If approaching from the A3 follow
signs for Portsmouth and the A3 will eventually merge into the M27. It
is also useful to note that the A3 becomes the A3(M) at times during the
approach to the M27.
Follow the M27 westbound, which will then be signposted westbound to Southampton.
Follow the westbound M27 until junction 8 and exit at this junction, signposted
for Hamble.
At the exit roundabout of junction 8, take the right exit, signposted
Southampton and Hamble. At the next roundabout take the exit signposted
for Hamble on the B3397. Then follow the B3397 for several miles, going

By Rail
From London - the easiest route by rail from
London to Hamble is to take a fast train from London Waterloo to Southampton
Airport Parkway. This journey takes just 70 minutes. Slow trains take
about 20 minutes more. At Southampton Airport Parkway take one of the
numerous taxis to Port Hamble Marina. Britannia is on the top floor of
the Harbour Master's office building (the white building opposite the
Aladdin's Cave chandlery).
You can also get a taxi from Southampton Central station.
From other destinations/stations it is best to get trains to Southampton
Airport Parkway or Southampton Central and then take taxis from these
stations. There is a local station at Hamble, which can be reached from
Southampton Central and other local stations. However, there are rarely
taxis at Hamble station and it is best to order one in advance on 0700
4444444.

By Air
From Southampton Airport take a taxi to Port
Hamble Marina. Britannia is on the top floor of the Harbour Master's office
