  | ACCBank Cork Week 2010 10th - 16th July 2010 ISORA Race Week was hosted by the Royal Cork Yacht Club in 1976 and its success led to the club deciding to host its own biennial regatta. The first Cork Week took place off Cork Harbour in 1978. From small beginnings with just over 50 boats, the event prospered through the enthusiastic endeavours of volunteer club members. This biannual regatta is held at the Royal Cork Yacht Club, Crosshaven, attracting an average fleet of 300 boats, made up of both corporate and private charter yachts. Run by sailors, for sailors, Cork Week is considered as the best socialising regattas and has the reputation as one of the biggest and best regattas is the world. The secret of the Cork Week’s success cannot be attributed to any one rule or aspect of its organisation. Its success is found in the eclectic mix of classes, competitors, good courses, good company and the good humour of the 10,000 visitors. The racing at Cork Week is varied and fantastic with a mixture of: Windward / Leeward Course, Olympic Course, Trapezoid Course, Harbour Course and Slalom Course. Entry Costs £5,495 + VAT for a team of up to 12 to include the following: Race prepared Beneteau 40.7, suitable for up to 10 guests and 2 crew. Race sails and spinnakers. Race insurance. Wet weather gear. Skipper is charged in addition to this fee at £1,050 + VAT (£150 + VAT per day). Delivery of the yacht to and from Cork Week by our professional delivery crew can be arranged. The cost for this is £995 + VAT. The above prices exclude race entry, berthing, catering and branding.
