 www.beneteaucup.co.uk  | COWES PREPARES TO WELCOME THE BENETEAU CUP 2008! 12.08.08 Ancasta, Britannia and the Cowes Yacht Haven are preparing to welcome over 50 crews for the annual Beneteau Cup regatta on the weekend of 15-17 August 2008. The fleet includes over 15 Beneteau 40.7s and also the Beneteau First 45 Poppy of Portland, which was recently crowned as the IRC Class 1 champion at Skandia Cowes Week. A large contingent of cruising boats are also entered into Class B and the Family Class. The Beneteau Cup is the largest regatta for Beneteau owners in the UK, with yachts competing at every level, from the family fun of a treasure hunt to the cut and thrust of the Class A IRC fleet racing. The regatta has a full programme of racing, combined with a superb programme of entertainment. The Beneteau Cup 2008 will take place on 15-17 August 2008 in Cowes.
