WWW.FATFACE.CO.UK  | MANCHES CUP 2008 LAUNCHED 24.10.07 The 18th Annual staging of the Manches Cup has been announced by Britannia Corporate Events. The regatta, which is the largest sporting and networking event for the legal sector, will take place on the 16-18 May 2008 and looks set to build on 2007, when a record entry level of over 70 teams took part.  The Manches Cup is open to competitors of all levels of experience, from the complete novice to the expert yachtsman. Entry is open to crews from law firms, in-house counsel, barristers' chambers and suppliers to the legal community. The overall winner from the 2007 regatta, Berwin Leighton Paisner, were the first to confirm their participation in the 2008 regatta and will be mounting a strong challenge to become the first team to successfully defend the Manches Cup Championship Trophy.  Britannia is delighted to announce that Sail 4 Cancer will be the Official Charity for the Manches Cup once again in 2008.
