The Dorchester won the 3rd annual staging of the Profile Sailing Cup, with the boutique hotel group The Eton Collection taking the runner’s up spot after two days of highly competitive racing on the Solent and a fantastic networking programme that included dinner at the prestigious Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes. The regatta also raised in excess of £6,000 during the gala dinner for the regatta’s official charity, The Springboard Charitable Trust.

CHALLENGER (WALES) WINS THE INAUGRAL EUROSAF BENETEAU 40.7 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

First Challenger (Wales) won the Inaugral EUROSAF Beneteau 40.7 European Championships on the weekend of 19-20th September 2009. Challenger's owner Gareth Williams took his team to a convincing win at the Championships, beating stiff competition from 13 teams from 6 nations. Challenger, racing with a Hyde Sails sail wardrobe, won all but 1 of the 4 completed races with a impressive display of sailing in light and tricky conditions.
