![]() | BRITANNIA CLIENT STORMS TO SUCCESS AT LITTLE BRITAIN 13.09.04 Gleeds produced a fantastic display at the 2005 Little Britain Challenge Cup in stormy and difficult conditions to claim two trophies. Gleeds entered two teams into the event and the team on Britannia's Beneteau 47.7, Twelfth Knight, secured prizes for Highest Placed Surveyor (Donaldsons Trophy) and Third Overall Class 4 (Taylor Maxwell Cup). The Little Britain Challenge Cup is the largest annual corporate yachting regatta in Europe! This year it took place in Cowes on the Isle of Wight from the 9th to the 12th September 2004 and is expected to have raised over £100,000 for the Jubilee and Cirdan Sailing Trusts. The event was once again hugely oversubscribed with a lucky 231 boats selected to take part in the 3-day regatta. The next LBCC takes place in Cowes from the 8th to the 11th September 2005.
