 | HSBC PRIVATE BANK CONTINUES SUPPORT OF MANCHES CUP 15.10.04 Britannia Corporate Events is delighted to announce that it has renewed its sponsorship deal with HSBC Private Bank for the 2005 Manches Cup. Simon Boulding, Marketing Manager for Britannia Corporate Events, comments: 'We are delighted to have secured the continued support of HSBC Private Bank for the Manches Cup. The 2005 Manches Cup will be the 15th staging of the regatta and looks set to attract in excess of 75 crews from the legal sector, making it one of the largest regattas in the sailing calendar. It is through the support of leading companies, such as HSBC Private Bank, that we have been able to improve the regatta and make it the success that it is today.' In making the commitment to the 2005 Manches Cup, the Chief Executive of HSBC Private Bank in the UK, Marcus Gregson, observed that: 'The Manches Cup is a wonderful team event to be associated with because it provides a great mix of friendly rivalry, keen competition and plenty of networking opportunities with hundreds of lawyers.' The 2005 Manches Cup will be staged on the weekend of 20-22 May and is open to crews from law firms, barristers' chambers and suppliers to the legal industry.
