  | GATELEY WAREING WIN INAUGRAL RNLI REGATTA 16.09.05 Gateley Wareing, a leading law firm with offices across the Midlands, won the inuagral HB-corporate sponsored RNLI Regatta amid challenging conditions and strong opposition. The RNLI Regatta is a new fundraising event in support of the 'Train a local Hero' appeal. The RNLI Regatta is supported and sponsored by HB-corporate, the specialist in smaller company fund raising. Stephen Greenwood, Chief Executive of HB corporate said, 'I am delighted that the event was such a success.The fact that the event attracted the support of competitive crews who gave us close racing in very challenging conditions is a recognition of the importance of the RNLI's work. The dedication and professionalism of the RNLI's crews represent something that HB corporate is proud to be associated with.' The 2005 regatta was staged in Hamble and the Solent, the world famous home of sailing, on Thursday 15 September 2005. The regatta raised funds for the RNLI and offered participants comprehensive sailing, social and networking opportunities. The regatta was open to companies and individuals who own their own yachts and also to companies chartering yachts. 12 teams took part in the regatta and supported the RNLI, representing many market sectors, including legal, corporate finance and IT.
