When an evening itinerary is required, or an early start to make the most of the day's sailing, then the overnight option is the obvious choice.

An overnight package includes the option of accommodation onboard the yacht, an evening sail, or a night in a restaurant or pub. An action packed day of sailing follows the next day, with full catering and event management. Britannia organises everything for you, leaving you free to relax with your guests and enjoy the experience.

Britannia can work with you to select the correct yachts for your groups' ability and requirements. For those with a competitive streak, we would recommend matched Beneteau 40.7 race yachts. For crews of novices, or those looking purely for a relaxed day of cruising, then Bavaria yachts may be more suitable.

Typical Overnight Itinerary

Day One
18.00 Guests arrive and are shown to yachts and introduced to skipper. Safety briefing given.

19.00 Evening sailing or alternative evening itinerary, as requested. Catering and restaurant bookings can be arranged by Britannia.

Moorings available in alternative marinas for overnight stay if required.

Accommodation provided onboard yacht, if required.

Day Two
08.30 Breakfast.

09.00 Yachts depart marina for a sailing in the Solent, sail handling and team work exercises.

12.30 Yachts anchor in Osbourne Bay for a racing lunch. An alternative option is to moor in Cowes for lunch in one of the many pubs and yacht clubs (lunch upgrade packages are available on request).

14.00 It's up anchor for the afternoon's sailing. If more than one yacht is sailing then teams can engage in several races around the Solent, putting all the early morning's skills into practice.

16.30 Yachts return to marina for post event drinks and prize giving (prizes can be sourced and provided by Britannia on request).

17.00 Guests depart at leisure
