Stop Press – Toe in the Water Appointed as the Energy Regatta’s official charity:
“We are very pleased and excited to be have been appointed the official charity for this fantastic sailing event. This will be a first for both TOE IN THE WATER (TITW) and the Energy Regatta, with TITW becoming the first charity to be associated with the regatta since its inaugural event in the 1990’s, as well as being the first time TITW have worked closely with the Energy industry. There is a real connection between the military and energy industry, having operated in similar environments for many years, and we believe this partnership is a great opportunity to highlight the importance of the work we do at TITW and the Energy industry’s support of the servicemen and women we help to rehabilitate through sailing. Toe In The Water is a charity that uses sailing as a vehicle to re-inspire injured servicemen to move beyond their injuries and get re-inspired by life. We really look forward to the Energy Regatta in June and to building upon this great partnership between the Energy Regatta and TITW – we also look forward to seeing you all enjoying the sailing on the water and meeting you on shore!”
