The 32nd St Maarten/ Saint Martin Heineken Regatta is coming up! In the past 30 years the event has become the largest event in the Caribbean following the mantra “Serious Fun”.

On the serious side the Race committee has made it their priority to live up to the highest standards of destination course design, race management and information for participants. All vessels are welcome.

Family cruisers normally mix with canting keeled maxis interspersed with sports boats and Beneteau 40.7s. On the social side, the legendary Heineken entertainment will once again take the form of outstanding musical shows.

Package details

in 2012, Britannia is offering a Beneteau 40.7 (Lancelot) and a Beneteau First 40 (Lancelot II) for charter at the Heineken Regatta 2012.

Both yachts come with a top quality sail wardrobe and an exceptional skipper/owners representative. Our crew all have a great deal of experience at Caribbean regattas, are good sailors and will look after you and your guests exceptionally well.

Itinerary

• 29 Feb

  Charter starts and training day.

  Registration for all racing at the Sint Maarten Yacht Club in Simpson Bay.

   

  Welcome Back Sailors party at the Sint Maarten Yacht Club.
• 1 March
  Registration for all racing at the Sint Maarten Yacht Club in Simpson Bay.

   

  Commodores Cup for Spinnaker Class only.
• 2 March
  First day of racing-Around the Island Race.

   

  Party on the Boardwalk, Philipsburg; multiple stages, various musical acts.
• 3 March
  Second day of racing-start in Great Bay, Philipsburg and finish the race in Marigot.

   

  Party in Marigot, main stage and multiple musical acts.
• 4 March
  Final day of racing-start in Marigot and finish in Simpson Bay.

   

  Party on Kim Sha Beach, Simpson Bay.

   

  Prize giving ceremony on Kim Sha Beach, Simpson Bay.
• 5 March

  Charter finishes
