Wind Runner Challenge 2018

A new event for 2018 Britannia Corporate Events, in partnership with Wolf Challenges, are proud to introduce the Wind-Runner Challenge.  

Teams of eight will race identical yachts across three different race courses, as each yacht race finishes two of the crew from each boat will disembark and run three different run courses over three days.  Times will then be combined, and at the end the quickest team will be automatically entered for FREE into the next event to defend their title!  Perfect for company teambuilding or groups of friends alike, Britannia can set you up with a fantastic Oceanis 37 with or without a professional skipper (experience dependant)

Charity

Give something back:  Each entry includes a donation to the Marine Conservation Society and all teams taking part are encouraged to raise money for their own causes too.

Wednesday March 21st 20180600Runners race from Yarmouth to Yarmouth via Freshwater bay and the Needles (reverse course to Day 2)
1100Boats race from Yarmouth to Cowes
1700Evening is hosted @ the Royal Ocean Racing Club, Cowes
Thursday March 22nd 20181000Boats race from Cowes to Warsash (then return to Hamble)
1300Runners race from Warsash to Hamble
1500All races finish @ Royal Southern Yacht Club for prize giving & afternoon tea Teams depart at leisre or can stay onboard for another night if needed) (Slipway bar and restaurant reserved for teams if they wish to go for dinner)
