Britannia has added another Beneteau First 40 to its growing fleet of these top quality yachts. The latest First 40 is called Winston and joins Lancelot II and Tarka II in Britannia’s stable of thoroughbred yachts.
Winston, like Lancelot II and Tarka II, has full race rig, race keel and race sails. She will be capable of matching the 15knots+ and 20knots+ obtained by our other First 40s in Solent and Offshore racing respectively. Winston will be available for all UK regattas, including AAM Cowes Week, Little Britain Challenge Cup, J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race, Manches Cup and the EMC Silicon Cup.
Britannia manages the largest fleet of Beneteau 40.7s in Europe and the only fleet of Beneteau First 40s in the UK and organizes many major regattas, such as the Manches Cup, EMC Silicon Cup, Energy Regatta, Lutine Lineslip Regatta and the Profile Sailing Cup.
