The Reginald Fessenden Challenge

This regatta is a fantastic opportunity to network with industry peers, promote your brand amongst a relevant audience, enjoy a team building activity and have a fun day, sailing in the UK's premier sailing area, the Solent.

Whether you choose to bring a team from head office, or captivate key clients or business partners, a day on a yacht is an unrivaled way to build stronger working relationships. Combine that with networking drinks and a BBQ at the nearby RAF Yacht Club - and the result is an exciting and productive event!

You and your invited team will sail together on a premium sailing yacht, under the guidance of a professional skipper - so don't worry, no previous sailing experience is required.

Any company is invited to join.

The Reginald Fessenden Challenge brochure is now available for download and the 2018 regatta is open to entries so contact us for more information.

Regatta Format

On Tuesday 10th July you and your guests will arrive in Port Hamble Marina and enjoy a fantastic evening hosted by The Not Forgotten Association team to raise funds for their amazing work.

The evening will start with a BBQ and follow with some fundraising activities.

The bar will be open till late but don't drink too much, you will have a busy day on Wednesday!

The next morning after breakfast in Banana Wharf you will head out on the Solent for a day of race training then the all important racing.

A short break for lunch then the decider race for the Reginald Fessenden Challenge 2018 Trophy!

Teams will then head back in to Port Hamble Marina for the prize giving, hopefully all that compete will return in 2019 to support this fantastic charity.

Our Yachts

Team entry includes the hire of a fully insured and well prepared sailing yacht. The Reginald Fessenden Challenge use a fleet of 20 Beneteau Oceanis 37 yachts ideal for matched racing, with their spacious deck, easy to move-around lay-out and comfortable interior.

Each team on a Beneteau Oceanis 37 will also have a professional skipper on board to show you the ropes and oversee safety. The skippers are familiar with coaching inexperienced teams, so don't worry - they'll soon have you working as a slick racing team!
