EUROPE'S LARGEST INDUSTRY SAILING REGATTA

Little Britain Challenge Cup 2022

One of the most enjoyable and competitive regattas in the sailing calendar.

The Little Britain Challenge Cup (LBCC) is the largest industry sailing regatta in Europe and is open to any company from the construction industry including architects, engineers, construction consultants, specialist contractors and manufacturers. Each year the LBCC raises significant sums for charity and always proves to be one of the most enjoyable and competitive regattas in the sailing calendar.

Britannia offers a fleet of fully race-prepared yachts available for charter. Each yacht is provided with a full wardrobe of race sails and can race competitively under IRC.

A big thank-you to our skipper and first mate for their hard work over the Little Britain regatta. They joined into the spirit of the event 100% and made it that bit better for us, especially in the light winds! Thank-you also to your shore support team, I know it is your job but we really appreciate the extra effort you employed. We look forward to working with you again next year

Event Format

Improve your team sailing skills to give you a competitive advantage in the racing, and maximise your brand exposure

Little Britain racing is now focused over two days from Friday to Sunday, with an optional practice race day on Thursday.  Most of Britannia’s clients chose to take Thursday as a training day, which we highly recommend.

Saturday night is the spectacular gala dinner, and the event finishes on Sunday morning with a champagne breakfast before you head home!

For those looking to maximise value from attending the sailing event, choose to join the Thursday training day and take part in the practice sailing races Britannia arrange (Little Britain no longer arrange any ‘formal’ practice races, but we will arrange some within the Britannia fleet for those who decide to arrive on Thursday.) This is a great way to enable more people to take part, improve your team sailing skills to give you a competitive advantage in the racing, and maximise your brand exposure.
