Beneteau 40.7

The Beneteau 40.7 has established itself as the yacht of choice in the UK. The Beneteau 40.7 is one of the most popular cruiser racers on the market and provides exhilarating sailing without the need for a team of professional sailors.

The 40.7 is optimized to be raced under the IRC handicap system, meaning that experienced race crews can enter a 40.7 into leading regattas and race competitively against a full range of other yachts.

The 40.7 is also accessible to groups with less, or even no, experience. Britannia Corporate Events uses the Beneteau 40.7 as its core boat in many of its regattas and usually provides professional skippers and mates onboard that expertly guide teams through all aspects of sailing and racing.

With its resolutely modern design, the Beneteau 40.7 is a true pleasure boat. The beautiful hull lines, clean deck layout, and comfortable interior all add up to a fast, functional yacht. The standard configuration is an 8 berth boat (although some are modified to have 10 berths) and are MCA coded to sail with a maximum crew of 12 (10 guests + 2 professional crew).

Britannia manages a substantial number of 40.7s and has access to over twenty-five Beneteau 40.7s in total, allowing the creation of a large, single class event.
