a great opportunity to network
An industry regatta is a great opportunity to network with peers, promote your brand amongst a relevant audience, enjoy a team building activity and have a fun day, all while sailing in the UK’s premier sailing area, the Solent.
Whether you choose to bring a team from head office, captivate key clients or attend individually onboard our networking yacht, a day on the water is an unrivalled way to build stronger working relationships and create new ones. Combine that with a special networking breakfast on site prior to sailing and the result is an exciting and productive event.
You and your team will sail together on a premium sailing yacht, under the guidance of a professional skipper and first mate – so don’t worry, no previous sailing experience is required.
Any company involved in the property, construction and facilities sector are invited to join. This includes (but isn’t limited to) developers, residential estate agents, commercial agents, contractors, facilities and property managers, specialist suppliers and more!
The Property Regatta 2021 is open to private entries of privately owned Oceanis 37’s or Beneteau First 40’s – contact us for more information.
Build a stronger network - provide the people that matter most to your business with an inaccessible experience that will make a lasting memory. Build foundations that can drive your bottom line.
The Property Regatta 2020
The Regatta opens with an optional training day on Thursday at our base at Port Hamble Marina in Hamble followed by an evening at leisure to catch up with your guests and meet like minded people from the construction industry.
With stunning views over the River Hamble it is the ideal venue to get to know your fellow competitors.
Friday morning kicks off with a networking breakfast at Banana Wharf which is on site at the marina followed by a safety brief and morning of sailing practice.
After a delicious lunch served on board there will be several short races in the afternoon in the Solent. Congratulations to the Matthews Goodman team on board Galahad, who took the crown in 2019. Who will be victorious in 2021?
With racing in two classes – the Beneteau First 40 (spinnakers) and Oceanis 37 (non spinnakers) there are yacht options to suit all levels of experience. Have a super experienced team and your own skipper? Good news a bareboat option on the Oceanis 37’s could be for you. Contact us for more info.
The updated 2021 Property Regatta Brochure will be available to download here, soon. In the meantime, check out the 2019 results below. Private entries are also accepted, but contact us for more info on this.

OUR AVAILABLE YACHTS
Team entry includes the hire of a fully insured and well prepared sailing yacht. Britannia have a fleet of 13 Beneteau First 40 yachts ideal for corporate racing, with their spacious deck, easy to move-aroundlay-out and comfortable interior. We also have a fleet of over 20 Beneteau Oceanis 37’s for the smaller team and a more sedate sailing experience; our ‘cruising class’. As each boat in each class is almost identical the race results come down to how well you sail as a team.
Each team on a Beneteau First 40 will also have a professional skipper and first mate on board to show you the ropes and oversee safety. The skippers are familiar with coaching inexperienced teams, so don’t worry – they’ll soon have you working as a slick racing team!
On the Beneteau Oceanis 37’s a professional skipper will guide you through your training and racing, unless you have an experienced skipper within your team already, in which case these boats can be entered to the event on a ‘bareboat’ basis (i.e. with no professional skipper.) Please note, for this option relevant experience and a sailing CV will be required.
